This is a WiFi signal you pay for so it creates a WiFi signal that you pay for. So if you got att cell phone account you can just add it to your account for 20 dollars and it gets you unlimited WiFi like I did all I did is add it to my unlimited plan and they charge me monthly 20 dollars and I got WiFi
