Will this work for Cox cable box ? null

No because it doesn’t come with the plug you have to buy that separately and solder it onto the wires. I went to ace hardware and a cheaper price it plug right in. But I have charter cable. On your cox box look on the rest and see if you have a audio jack input. If so the one at ace will work with a usb power supply line the one you use for the cell pkone
