• No, it will not. The 4040E took the ATS11E Stylus. The cartridge and the stylus have been discontinued for several years. Check with lpgear.com to see if they may have some NOS or an aftermarket version of this stylus. The ATS12 and ATS12S will also work with your cartridge.
