The only thing you have to look out for is a switch on the back of the turntable that says phono/line. Patching it through a receiver, you’ll need to make sure the switch is on phono.

If they are passive type speakers, they must remain connected to a stereo amplifier or receiver and the turntable would also need to be connected to the amplifier or receiver just like any other component would.
