• There is some assembly. You have to install the platter and belt. Pretty straight forward.

• Not completely, no.The drive belt comes pre-installed on the platter it but must be placed around the motor pulley at the time the platter is placed on the center spindle. The dust cover hinges must be be installed on the dust cover.
