Yes, it's easy to do. However I recommend replacing it when the turntable is not in use to avoid having dust get into the mechanism or on the surface of the record if you should leave it on the platter when not being played.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it has the option to unhinge the cover ,however I feel inclined to say that playing your records exposed with out the dust cover will couse dust to be attracted to the record since it has a static charge from pulling it in and out of the sleeve wich can affect your sound quality as well as couse serious damage to the stylus(needle) over time which runs about $50 to replace on audio technicas .But I digress lol yes it's removable
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The dust cover on this unit does lift right off so it should fit where you want to use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no hinge. The cover is mainly used to protect the turn table and keep dust off it, during periods of no play. It works well. You do need to pick the cover straight up, so as not to hit the tone arm with it during removal. Like any turn table you need to use a bit of care, especially when it comes to tone arms. That said, everything is solid on this turn table.
