- Answer Thank you for your inquiry. This turntable is designed to play LP's at 33.3 RPM and 45's at 45 RPM. Please note it is not capable of playing 78's.

- Answer Any POWERED type speakers that have either the Red (right) and White (left) RCA type input jacks or the single 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo input jack will work with our turntables. Be certain to turn on the turntables internal phono preamplifier by placing the preamp selector switch located on the rear of the turntable in the LINE position. The provided Dual RCA (female) to 3.5 mm (1/8") mini-plug (male) stereo adapter cable can be used to convert the turntables RCA type plugs to a single 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo mini-plug for connection to single 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo input jack. Check out speaker brands such as Audioengine, m-audio and Samson.

- Answer Using the provided dual RCA (female) to single 3.5 mm stereo mini-plug (male) adapter cable, you can connect the turntable to the single stereo 3.5 mm LINE IN jack found on many sound cards. Make certain that you turn the phono preamplifier located inside the turntable ON by setting the preamp selector switch located on the rear of the turntable to the LINE position. This connection will allow you to both convert your records to digital (using a computer-compatible audio recording program such as Audacity) and play your records out of your pc speakers.

QuestionI have a good Pioneer turntable, but cannot use it with my Yamaha receiver. my plug-in jack is split with a ground wire attached .My Pioneer receiver has a plug in location, not Yamaha. Will I have Same problem with this turntable?

- Answer Does the Yamaha receiver have any analog input jacks on it or are they all digital? The turntable is fitted with an audio cable that has the traditional Red (right channel) and White (left channel) male RCA type plugs on the ouput end of it. These can be connected to either left and right PHONO input jacks on a stereo receiver OR to line level input jacks, such as AUX, CD, SAT/DVD etc. When connecting to line level jacks, make certain the phono preamplifier built into the turntable is turned ON. The preamp can be turned on by setting the preamp selector switch located on the rear of the turntable to the LINE position. If your receiver has a single 3.5 mm stereo audio input jack, such as AUX IN, AUDIO IN or LINE IN , you may use this jack as well. An adapter cable which converts the Red and White RCA male plugs to a single 3.5 mm stereo mini-plug is provided with the turntable.
