If you can't return the cables, maybe you can use them later. However, you can also get the audioquest X2 speaker cables from Best Buy. That way you can customize the length.

Looking at images of the Yamaha CA-810 it looks like it is using the older spring clip style speaker connections. For Type 4 there are two options I can think of, one is the aforementioned bare wire connection, the other option is to have the cable terminated with our bendable pin connectors. The benda-pin is what I would normally recommend as these are a straight pin which fits easily into the spring clip style connectors that your Yamaha amp has.
