The product is designed with a bar which swings back and forth and is supposed to knock dust off the bristles. However, one of the negatives of this product is the bar is held on by small nipple protrusions and it keeps disengaging from the bristles. I wasn't aware that hands shouldn't touch the bristles and have used the palm of my hands at times. I'll keep that in mind going forward.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just rotate it through the open/closed position several times. The protective plastic bars knock the dust off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use dust buster, it is used for computer keyboards and other electronics
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To remove debris all you need to do is rotate the protecting bar around the brush bristles several times. Recommended to do this over a trashcan so to not deposit dust and debris back to listening area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After I use this AQ anti-static brush I wipe it with a small soft brush that I use to clean debris off of my cartridge stylus. I agree that you should not use your fingers as you will deposit oils from your fingers onto the bristles of the AQ anti-static brush. Hope this works for you as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to flip the handle around back and forth over the bristles and the dust will fall off of them. Just don't do it over top of the record you just brushed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just blow on the brush but I think maybe a keypad duster would even be better.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to flip the plastic black handle back and forth so it goes back and forth against the bristles. This will not require you to touch the bristles with your fingers in any way. The only thing that will touch then is the plastic handle.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a cover over the brush which flips around to the back when it's in use. When you close the cover, it rubs against the tips of the bristles, brushing them clean. I usually run the cover over the bristles twice or thrice after each use, even more if the record was crazy dusty. You can see that it works, and that way you never have to touch the bristles directly with your oily hand.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You swipe it off with the plastic piece that swivels. You shouldn’t touch the bristles with your hands as you could transfer oils to your records.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
