• A:Answer The product is designed with a bar which swings back and forth and is supposed to knock dust off the bristles. However, one of the negatives of this product is the bar is held on by small nipple protrusions and it keeps disengaging from the bristles. I wasn't aware that hands shouldn't touch the bristles and have used the palm of my hands at times. I'll keep that in mind going forward.
