Has anyone installed on a door with a tight seal? Sometimes we have to hold the door shut and turn the deadbolt - I'm wondering if this would work on a deadbolt that can sometimes require a little force to lock. null

You will have to modify and cut out the wood thats causing the bind they do have videos showing doors that need modifications due to that issue

It will work with tight fitting door but you have to ensure that the door is securely closed and is fully pushed. If the deadbolt/latch is aligned it will work

No it will not work. you need to get out a file/grinder and enl.arge the deadbolt hole until it can be closed without pulling on the door
