That is correct, but you do get a message on the screen warning you if you are in a Do Not Fly zone, they trust you to be responsible and not fly in an area that you are not allowed in or beyond limits (altitude, etc.).

The technology is there because they are enforced in China but that is not the case here in the US. Whether or not Autel will be forced to be more restrictive based on possible new guidance coming from the FAA remains to be seen.
