“Do you have to wash the bottles and pump parts first, like some sterilizers, or can everything just go right in to be cleaned and dried?”

Thank you for your interest in our products. Only cleaned bottles and pump parts can go into the superfast sterilizer dryer. This machine is only capable of sterilizing and drying.
