Q: QuestionIs this product as sensitive as a police grade device? Will it pick up any trace of alcohol just as a police grade device would? Even .01 BAC or is it not as sensitive or accurate.

• A:Answer The BACtrack S35 uses a Semiconductor sensor which will pick up trace amounts of alcohol. Police Grade devices will be more accurate and consistent, but the S35 is great for personal use.

Q: QuestionWill this item register false positives like an IID would?an IID will pick up false positives created by things other then alcohol, will this do the same.

• A:Answer Because it uses a Semiconductor sensor, the BACtrack S35 can potentially read false positives when there are residual non-alcoholic substances in your mouth. It is important to wait at least 15-20 minutes after consuming anything before you test on the breathalyzer to allow for all of those foreign substances to evaporate.
