Hi! I don't know how long you plan to let this sit unused, but this can certainly sit without use for several months. However, you'll want to make sure that you don't leave it someplace that feels extremes of temperature---that can affect the printer for sure. Leave it in a well-ventilated room that has a relatively constant temperature. Hope this helps!
