• Not necessarily. There could be several reasons it doesn’t turn on. A defective battery in your phone. A defective wall socket. A case that is to thick. A defective wall unit. There are several more issues that it could be. If the light is off and pad still charges then it could just be the led indecator light.

• Hi, AliC. It doesn't necessarily mean that the charging pad is defective if the indicator light will not turn on. If the unit can still charge your QI-enabled phone, then it still works, but the problem is only with its indicator light. Reach out to us at [email protected] so we can provide further assistance.
