• I don't know why you are asking about Docsis, this is a router only with a media server USB port, it is not a modem. It does work after a Xfinity Modem, or a modem that work with Xfinity just fine; we have Xfinity modem and are going to get a separate Motorola modem so we can stop renting the Xfinity modem.

• Hi! Our router support any ISP-supplied modem or gateway as long as Ethernet connection is supported. This router's LAN ports also supports Gigabit speeds and up to 1200 Mbps (in total) on its dual-band 2.4GHz/5.0GHz frequency.
