The Belkin HDMI-VGA adapter (AV10145bt) is designed to allow you to view MacBook, iPad, or other iOS device on a bigger screen. We cannot guarantee you that it will work perfectly with a Windows computer. Try to use and a supported Appe device and compare the result.

Please try again later.This adapter worked very well on several of our VGA projectors, running from a couple of different HDMI sources, but it didn't work at all with others - no matter which cables we used. The only thing you can do is try it, and then return it if it doesn't work for you. You will need a VGA cable (probably already on the monitor) and this device since it has an HDMI cable on the end. You may need to check with the support people for your laptop to confirm. Otherwise you will probably need to have an HDMI to VGA Converter. Those typically come with some way of powering themselves (via ac adapter or usb connection).
