Works great for connection to Overhead Projector. Since my new laptop came without a VGA connection, I needed to purchase this HDMI to VGA Converter and it works as designed.

I needed a connection between my new computer and my monitor. I was helped by an associate at Best Buy. He knew just exactly what I needed. I am very satisfied with the connection product. It works perfectly.

New laptop has only HDMI port. Use extra monitor for work, but existing monitor only has VGA connection. Learned the hard way that an HDMI to VGA cable won't do it. This adapter does the trick. Easy to use. Half the price of the one HP offered when I ordered the laptop. Found this item on BestBuy.com for $25, but in the store it was more. Sales associate honored the internet price without any question or argument.

I have a new convertible PC. Light and thin. Too thin for a standard VGA port. This is a must for anyone who routinely gives presentations utilizing projectors provided by customers, hotels, or conference centers. Some only have VGA ports. This little life saver tucks away neatly into any pocket of your laptop bag.

This adapter is an excellent tool for newer laptops / computers with only HDMI outputs. Because the sound is also sent via the HDMI, there is a 3.5 mm audio plug on the adapter. You can easily attach an older VGA monitor or projector and also connect speakers via the 3.5 mm audio plug. Works great! Definitely recommend!

Excellent adapter for HDMI out to VGA in on a projector or monitor. Was in town for a meeting and found that the projector provided by the venue did not have a VGA input. BEST BUY was close and this Belkiin adapter solved the problem for a reasonable price. I have since used with a VGA monitor, as well. Great to have on hand.

I travel a lot and I ALWAYS carry this with me. My computer only has HDMI output so if I find myself presenting to a customer who only has VGA, this is so handy. I also use monitors in different locations and most have VGA cables included so this comes in handy then as well.

Recently purchased an ultra-light PC for business, great for mobility but the trade off is fewer connection options. This adapter allows me to still use the video output (HDMI) to connect with VGA projectors when the need arises. Works great, now I couldn't get along without it!

Great to use when, you want to convert hdmi to vga (computer monitor) I myself have used it to connect my PS4 and Xbox one to my projector. Quality is great for the price.

I purchased this cable adapter (HDMI to VGA) for a business client and it works very well. The business added an external monitor to a laptop to help with data entry and analysis in Microsoft Excel. It was an easy setup in Windows 7.
