Was looking to use a TV as a PC monitor

I didn't pay attention to the box when I grabbed this at the store. The label specifically says HDMI to VGA adapter (for example, using a newer laptop with HDMI into a PowerPoint projector having only VGA input). I'm sure this adapter works great, I've never had a Belkin product that doesn't work as advertised. However, this adapter is one-way, just as the box says.....HDMI to VGA. It will NOT run VGA out into and HDMI input. My bad.....
