“Audio output? Does this adapter have one? The Belkin part number says that it should, but the picture doesn't show it right next to the VGA connection, where it should be per Belkin. Is the picture here just old/generic?”

• I ordered a couple of them and YES, they have the audio port. The pictures don't show it because it's on the same short edge as where the cable comes out of the VGA side and goes to the HDMI side. The audio cable will be parallel to the adapter cable, not the VGA cable to the monitor.

• I don't remember seeing anyway to connect audio once we went out VGA, but I'll double check tomorrow for you.

• yea and no, I can assign the audio to be directed by my laptop to another source, very easy to dd.
