I'm not aware of the Apple iPhones(or iPads or iPods) that have a type "C" port - Apple so far as stuck with its proprietary port it calls "lightning" on its mobile devices. This cable will NOT work with an Apple mobile device - you would need a cable with a "lightning" connector.
If you're looking for a cable to charge your device, you need to look at the specific type of port your device has, and then choose a cable that has the correct plug.
