• I believe I have used a USB to micro-USB cable in this charger to re-charge a portable "battery" pack. I also think I've used this charger with a USB to micro-USB cable to charge a Bose bluetooth speaker.

• I can't imagine why it wouldn't. As the price would suggest, this is a sturdy well made cord.
