“Can I attach a 7 port USB hub to the USB port on the Belkin N600 router? I have a number of USB devices that I would like to attach to the Belkin USB port (i.e. printer, scanner, smart media card reader, ...). Can I use a USB hub to attach them to the USB port on the N600 router? How would i load device drivers? I would like to eliminate my existing laptop and go to an IPAD2 computer or equivalent device, but they don't support USB ports. I don't want to utilize my old laptop as a host computer so that I can access my USB devices. My laptop is on its last legs. That is why I am hoping your router can handle multiple USB devices.”

The Belkin N600 router only allows 1 device at a time to be connected to it and does not support USB hubs. The software included with the router to use the USB ports is only compatible with Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS based devices. The software will not run on your iPad 2. The iPad can use the router but will be unable to use an attached printer. Regards. Belkin Support

USB flash drives do., I own the myutn-250 ., this company can access USB devices over the Internet , you have to open ports, but it works., you only need one the one on the left is the 8 port one, the one I have is myutn-250 and I love it. There is a software version sharing usb ports (USB Network Gate) , works great too , but not over the Internet
