“Can I use this to get a second wireless network in my house? I currently have a Motorola Surfboard SBG6580 cable modem and wireless router in my basement. I have two wireless devices on the first floor that have a weak wireless signal. I would like to increase the speed of their network and their internet connection. I am thinking of buying Belkin Powerline Adapters Video Link 3 to install a Belkin N600 Dual Band Wireless Router in the upstairs of my house. I have several questions. Will this allow me to set up a second wireless network on the first floor and must it have a different ssid and password or can it have the same ssid as the wireless netowrk in the basement. If it has to have a different ssid, will it have the capability to access the internet and files on the downstairs computer? Finally, will the Video Link3 in the basement give me two more Ethernet ports downstairs and 2 more Ethernet ports upstairs”
