“Connection Issue? The Surf, Share and Play models all have bad feedback regarding the internet connection being lost, I've had experience with the Play Max and it lost the internet connection within the first few hours of me booting up the new boxed router. Those routers also had bad reviews regarding heat problems as well as other but they didn't affect me. I can only vouch from experience that the play max had major connection issues/dropping connection and also heat issues. Could you please confirm from testing, firmware releases, customer reviews etc. that this new range does not have those issues. I'm looking at the F9K1103 router but may opt to get another one within the new range. Could you please assure me that the new range doesn't drop the internet connection and the modem itself doesn't heat up? Thanks”

All I can do is answer from experience. The only connection issue I had was attaching an external hard drive to the router. As far as heat goes, I'm not all that sure. Mine sits in a loft with a number of other electronics and I haven't had to troubleshoot anything up there (so good sign?).
