“Will this work on an iPad, and will it scan military ID cards?”

• Hi. This card reader only works with computers running on Apple Mac OS, Microsoft Windows 7 or higher and Linux (64-bit). And, the military ID cards should work with the device as long as it meets the ISO7816 standards including CAC and PIV.

• Don’t know about the IPAD but it will definitely read CAC cards. Just make sure you install the required software.

• I do not know if it will work on a iPad, but I know it will scan your CAC card. I use it to do my travel claim while on the road.

• I’m not sure about ipad but it does work with my husbands military Id
