- Answer No, Mel. The Belkin USB CAC Reader (F1DN008U) is not compatible with a Chrome OS. As of now the Belkin CAC reader only works with the following OS: Apple Mac OS, Microsoft Windows 7 or higher, Linux (64-bit).
