• Hi, Rainer. Our apologies but there's no photo of the back view. It may take two plug receptacles for a dual outlet.

• I don't have it here but I'm pretty sure it does connect to a standard three-prong outlet. The version I have is vertical rather than horizontal as this one is, so mine sometimes blocks both wall outlets (depends on how much space there is below the outlet. This one probably won't do that in most cases.

• Back side of this USB surge protector has two plugs for a standard vertical dual outlet. The surge protector will be horizontal with three outlets on the bottom row and two USB connectors on the top row.
