There is not any problem with using an extension cord or power strip. It will just control all items at the same time. I have my tv and sound system plugged into a power strip, that is plugged into the Wemo switch. I then can tell the Amazon Echo to turn my tv on/off and it will control both my sound system and TV at the same time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Should work basically its just breaking the circuit to the outlet so if you plug in an extension cord and have a few lights plugged into that it should turn everything off
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They work without any problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not at all. There is a maximum power output limit for the switch (check the technical specs), but once activated, it simply clicks an internal relay.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no have several used in this way
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, not at all. I used it to run a power strip and it worked flawlessly.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not at all I have it on one now
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no problem at all as long as you do not exceed the electrical capacity of the WeMo device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There shouldn't be any problem, AndyinCO. You can connect an extension cord or power strip to this unit if you want to control multiple devices at the same time. Just make sure not to exceed 15 Amps/1800 Watts as each device you connect will count toward that limit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
