“Can I use this to extend my wireless coverage in my house by plugging into an existing switch? My cable modem and existing wireless router/switch are located upstairs in one end of the house, with wired connection from switch to far end of house. Can I plug in this device at far end of house to provide more switch ports plus extended wireless coverage?”

• Yes. Just configure the SSID and security settings for the wireless to be identical. So if your wireless is called HomeWireless and the connection properties shows that it is WPA2 Personal/AES with password HomeWirelessPass then if you configure the new device just the same it will connect to either wireless network.

• Yes. You would need to turn on access point mode in the N150 and it will function exactly how you are wanting. Regards, Belkin Support
