• Did the package say you should be able to plug a another wireless device into it. No, the internet modem is the only device you should plug into it so you can operate your computer. Keep it simple. No need to create scapegoats.

• Sprint's Internet cards provide 3g/4g capability. You can't plug them into a router to "make" it wifi - that's something totally different. You'll either need a router with built in wifi, or hook a wireless access point to it.
