- Answer Well California is pretty much packed full of warnings for everything, yet I haven’t found most of them to even be a concern. I guess it’s a situation of they overreact about everything and don’t react when they should!! Ignore this warning in my honest opinion!!

QuestionWhat is the thickness/sturdiness of the glass carafe? On my last coffee maker (not Bella), the carafe's glass was so thin, like a wine glass, that I accidentally broke it while washing it after only a couple weeks and never found a suitable replacement.

- Answer I believe that all of the water takes awhile to drain out of the basket. I usually wait about 5 minutes after it stops brewing. You can remove the coffee carafe for a cup of coffee but you have about 30 seconds to return the pot to the plate.
