A:AnswerThe crumb tray is very easy to clean but cannot be removed. It opens at the bottom easily and is very easy to clean and remove crumbs. You need to tip it on its back and there's a cushion on the outside so nothing gets damaged. I like it better than a removable tray because crumbs always get below the removable tray and then I can't get them out. I clean this tray more often than any other removable tray I've owned. I know it sounds crazy but it's true.

A:AnswerWhat i do os i turn it to the desired temperature without putting anything in and wait for the heating elements to turn off. Then put the food in. I dont really have a problem with it burning when i do that.
A:AnswerDon’t think it’s stainless—metal feels much thinner. I’m trying to remember to regularly wipe down on outside to stave off rust, since we’re a mile from ocean. Last toaster oven, not this brand, had big spot where black paint was peeling off the outside top, with rust underneath.
