Maybe.....although you buy another one that is BPA free, if it has plastic, it probably will be BPS, which is not as concentrated as BPA, but your body more readly absorbs the BPS. Should look for one that has no plastic if you are concerned about any type of Bisphenol

The black plastic on the Bella toaster is only on the lever (handle to push bread or bagel down) and all around the bottom base. The 4 bottom feet are made of black rubber plastic. Model number on this toaster is KT-3127; item number is 14466. This particular model is BPA-free.
