Does it break down for easy cleaning? null

Nope - I had to use a microfiber cloth I wet down with soap and water Then wrung it out and did second pass with just water. Took me 5-8 minutes to do to get it spotless

No. The plates are not removable. It can be a chore to clean.

No! i use clorox wipes for the outside after its cool & unplugged. I use a old clean washcloth & soap & water to wipe it down

No. Cleaning is a challenge. See my review in detail. You can't disassemble parts for cleaning.

No, The grids are screwed down, and the hinges aren't designed to separate. That said, wipe the grids clean and it sterilizes itself because there's no temperature control. That's why it's cheaper than a Booger Monarch, and much faster.

No it is one piece hand wash because it is electrical
