Hello. I have prepared a few thin pork chops (boneless) on this and it usually takes about 8 to 10 minutes total. Of course, each person will be different in terms of time but temperature-wise, it works great and much easier to clean than a skillet. Of course, the thicker the meat, the lid will not close all the way so be careful with the heat that emits from the edges while using it if preparing pork chops or steak!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've not tried pork chops but I cooked a small sirloin to rare in about 5 minutes, I checked on it at 3 minutes and knew it needed a little more. The steak was about 1" thick

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For our steaks we only cook for 4 mins because we like out steaks very pink or read but for pork I say about 6 to 7 mins. and for chicken we pound ours thin and it only takes 4 mins. We love it little grill! It's perfect for 2 people!

Please try again later.You wouldn’t want to cook anything as thick as a pork chop or steak, the hinge doesn’t open enough to allow anything that thick to cook evenly on both sides. You could try but you wouldn’t be satisfied with the results. One side would look great while the other (top) would look terrible. If you pounded them to about 1/4 inch it would take a few minutes because it does get hot and cooks both sides simultaneously.
