• I’m not sure about weight, but space is the problem. The advertised 4 LB chicken is to big for rotisserie. We tied him together every way and it was just too large. When it would roll, it hit the drip pan and would knock off mount

• You can only put an Cornish hen 1 - 2 pounds is about all it fold!

• I tried a 4.5 lb chicken trussed and had to take it out after a few rotations because the wing and breast kept touching. I did a little over 3 lb chicken trussed and it worked perfectly. The chicken was amazingly tender and juicy. It never made it to the serving plate. 1 taste and I just couldn't stop haha. I'm gonna try a pork loin next.
