“I bought this and have used it twice. I have tried to make soup in it, starting off on high, and it didnt ever even boil or cook the soup much, after about 6 hours I had to cook it on the stove. Is this normal? Any suggestions?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I absolutely love this slow cooker. Although I have never made soup I have had sauces get to a bubbling point. I’m not sure what your problem could be. Not sure that I would want to boil a soup anyway, lol.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I suppose it would be depending on how much liquid you had in it . I made chili in it several times and because it’s such a large pot it only was about 3” deep . It was simmering away in there for 8 hours and was the best chili we ever had
