“What does the 1-4 cup button do? Can I choose to brew only 1 cup and let the rest of the water remain in the reservoir for my next cup?”

• Hello, thanks for reaching out. 1-4 cup is for full flavour carafe taste while brewing small amounts. The water that is put into the water tank will brew out. The machine does not hold water for a second brew. Have a nice day. The BELLA Team.

• 1 cup is not really one cup. I normally use this setting to brew "4 cups" and fill up a 20 oz mug with room for cream.
