“Brand new out of the box doesn't work it cooks rice but doesn't have timer just 4 dashing lights or beep when it's done I have to babysit this machine. Is it broken am I doing something wrong?”

• Choose the setting, once you press setting on it starts to cook, it may take a few mins to warm up. It cooks rice perfectly. Put it on and it turns off automatically when done and keeps foods warm until served.

• Mine is new as well just now using was a gift and just like yours my timer never appeared. It just stayed with the dashing blue line
