“I was wondering if foil can be placed inside and not prevent it from crisping correctly. I have celiac disease and my roommate doesn’t. I wanted to use foil to protect myself from cross contamination. I would think it would obstruct the airflow right?”

You can use parchment paper, and it won't affect it. THey even make parchment liners shaped like the insider of the air fryer.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.An air fryer recipe site mentioned poking holes in foil to allow air flow. I sometimes put foil on top of food that might splatter. It's slightly smaller than the basket.
