“Is the inside of the basket stainless steel as well as the outside of the basket?”

• No. Basket that holds the coffee grounds seems to be a very fine plastic fabric of some type. The holder for the filter is 100% plastic. I have been using the coffee maker for about a month with no brewing or durability issues.

• Hello, thanks for reaching out. The outside of the unit has stainless steel accents. The filter basket holder inside is plastic. The permanent filter frame is plastic with mesh inserts. Have a great day. The BELLA Team.

• No! Everything is plastic with the exception of a stainless steel metal trim piece around the outside of the filter area very misleading!
