Q: QuestionWhy are they calling this "Stainless steel"? Everything looks like plastic, except the copy logo plate. Do these inept companies know why stainless steel coffee maker are wanted by so many? It's not for a base plate, good grief how misleading????

- A:Answer I thought the same him thing. It seemed like even the silver parts were plastic. I still thought it looked nice but mine broke after a month so plastic or not, it was poor in quality and disappointing

Q: QuestionDoes this automatically shut off after a couple hours like similar coffee makers? Also, can you use paper filters with it? Lastly, does the top come off of the pot or is it permanently attached?

- A:Answer You have to manually turn it off. You may also use paper filters. I do for easier cleaning

Q: QuestionHow much ground coffee can be used without the filter overflowing? My concern is that I want to be able to make very strong coffee.

- A:Answer There is plenty of extra room in the filter to add extra coffee grounds to make the coffee stronger without overflowing the filter unless you go crazy. It has a mark about midway up the filter for average strength coffee. You can't fill it to the top but another spoon or two is not going to cause a problem.
