• I had another air fryer with similar rubber pieces...I just removed them...no difference between having them and not

• the 4 corner rubber feet are there to help protect the bottom of the cooking basket from scratches. Either cover them with alum foil, or line the bottom with foil and then lay down the crisping tray.
