Does the fryer basket lock in place null

The air fryer doesn't have an actual lock to prevent kids from opening it. However, it does click into place pretty good in order to work. I have many small ones around. My oldest who is 10 years old had to pull hard in order to open. I recommend not having it close to small ones. Just to prevent getting burned. Good luck!
