Okay, I am the one who asked the question. I was happy with the answer and made the purchase. The thing beeps at everything you do. Every push of every button and when you lift the kettle and set it down. Exactly what I didn't want. Also, another question asks if the tea brewing part is removable and you said yes it is. Well, it is not. Maybe your team should actually know your products before answering questions. Total waste of my time.

It feels like they cut corners everywhere to lower manufacturing costs. I'm returning it and will look for a different make. Not worth the price.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To clarify, the the tea part is removable. The tea basket unscrews and can be left off permanently if desired. If you want absolutely nothing but water in the kettle, remove the top while boiling. Having used this model for many years without issue, I like beep confirming my button presses and the removable tea basket makes it easy to clean.
