• Hello, thanks for reaching out. This is really made for water and tea. You could probably use dried or dehydrated fruits no issues. If you use fresh fruit or juices, it’s not something we would recommend. If you did it they would really have to clean the unit very well after, but that isn’t what it was designed for. • I'm sure you could. It's stainless. I'd use the herbal tea setting. I just cleaned mine today with ts of bleach and hot water. Sparkling new.inside. I love mine.it sof well made.
