While I can not tell you the dimensions, I have an Xbox 360 on one side and a Dish receiver on the other and there is about 3 or 4 inches to spare on each side of each device and ebough room to insert a speaker bar if the speaker bar is maybe no more than 5 1/2 inches in height. I honestly can not imagine you not being able to fit your receiver and disc player in each space on the top shelves.
