A:AnswerI have one and measured the rear...the width of the glass in the rear is 32 in. The middle of the stand width measures approx 40 in. and the very front widest is 47 in. So the stand width tapers off fairly drastically from front to rear...someone else stated that in their review...its best to get a TV that has a foot print of 40in or less so the you can be certain the feet will fit on top of the stand
